The study, “Food-Related Parenting Practices and Adolescent Weight Status: A Population-Based Study,” in the May 2013 Pediatrics found that the use of controlling food-related parenting practices, including food restriction and pressure-to-eat, were common among parents of adolescents.

Hurley is the cutest 2-year-old, 11 pound, Pekingese-Pomeranian mix and an absolute sweetheart.  He was found in an abandoned apartment.  Despite the obvious negligence, Hurley remains the most wonderful, sweetest dog.  He is just ready to love, love, love.  Hurley gets along great with people and other dogs too.  So if you have no shirt or no shoes – no problem!  Hurley will be your best Friend forever and a day.
