The Canton Police Department’s K9 Unit is taking a bite out of crime, literally!
In the past two days, K-9 cops have taken down two bad guys.
Wednesday, Beau Williams, 31, was bitten by a Canton police K-9 and held down until troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol could taser him. Williams was stopped for a traffic violation on Cleveland Avenue where he fled the scene on foot.
Williams was treated for his bite wound on scene.
Thursday night, a convicted felon with a stolen car was taken down by Canton police K-9 "Hank," who held down Bryan Anthony, 35, following the chase until police could cuff and stuff him for the third time this month.
Hats off to the Canton Police K-9 Unit!
