Car thief apprehended on foot

At least six vehicles had been broken into in a period of two days in the City of Green. On February 2nd at approximately 7:30 a.m., the Summit County Sheriff's Office was dispatched in regards to thefts from vehicles.

Dad arrested for brutally beating infant daughter

A Canton man was arrested Thursday morning for assaulting his 12-week daughter.

Larry D, Burkett was arrested Thursday afternoon at his home on Ardmore Avenue. He's accused of hitting his infant daughter in the face, buttocks, and breaking her right leg. There were visible bruises on the infant's body.

Fugitive of the Week: Jerome Ladson

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Jerome Ladson.

Ladson is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and the Cleveland Police Department. Ladson is wanted for homicide. It is alleged that back on August 5th of last year in the middle of the afternoon, Ladson shot and killed a man near the 7100 block of Garden Valley.

Ladson is a 24 year old black male standing approximately 5'09" and weighing 180 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Ladson is believed to be hiding in the Garden Valley area of Cleveland. He also has a previous address near the 20000 block of Wickfield Ave. in Warrensville Heights.
