Friend of the Week is a regular feature to introduce furry friends in the community who need loving and caring homes.  Please help these deserving animals find their forever guardians or consider adopting an animal yourself.  NFW South: Available for Adoption

The NFW Challenge 2012:   266 / 350 Adoptions

If you look up the definition of a lap cat, do not be surprised if you see a picture of Mia.  But, couch potato might be more appropriate.  Mia is an incredibly friendly cat picked up as a stray in Independence.  She instantly won over the hearts of the shelter volunteers with her wonderful personality and demeanor.  But now, she is ready to find a forever home to call her own.

If you are looking for a quiet companion, Mia is your girl.  She would love to sit in your company as you watch television or read a book.  All she asks in return is for an affectionate pat and a full food bowl.  You will never doubt Mia’s love for you.  She promises to be the best cat you ever had.  Consider Mia for your next feline friend!

To adopt Mia today, contact Mia of the Independence Animal Control Shelter at 216-524-4131 or email Pam at emepet@sbcglobal.net
