THURSDAY:  Partly cloudy with showers and t-storms arriving late in the afternoon.  Some of these storms can be strong to severe.  High: 92  Wind: SW at 5-10 mph

The wind will not be as strong as yesterday, providing little relief from the heat.  Expect a hot afternoon with temperatures topping in the mid 90s, with a heat index closer to 100.  We'll stay quite warm out ahead of the next front.  That cold front will bring showers and storms starting late Thursday afternoon into Thursday night.  With the heat and humidity in place out ahead of this front, some of these storms can be strong to severe.  The good news is behind the front, Friday and Saturday will be noticeably cooler and less humid with highs in the upper 70s.
